Manga

Dear lovely people that reads my blog,
I'm really into drawing manga now.
I've spent lots of times in the library in the recess when I'm in school.

Happy 3rd Birthday Dibo!!!

In the 4th of March it was Dibo's (my dog) birthday!
Now he is already 3 years old >w< I bought him a dog cloth, even thought I've hated clothes for dogs because it was hurting them, so it's kind of ironic. Anywho, I don't really regret buying him the cloth because it's really match him :33 This is his picture

And yes I know that I've written his years wrong -,-
Sadly, I can't meet him because I'm still in Japan and there is no way I'm going to Jakarta only to arrive for his 3rd birthday.
So I drew a manga about a dog in my favorite anime that looks like Dibo.
And hey! It doesn't look that bad right?
Oh, how I miss Dibo...

Hiroshima's Monuments

In Hiroshima I've visited a lot of peace monuments, and it was super cool!
I will tell you about all of the Hiroshima's Peace monument.
Enjoy!
1. The Hypocenter Monument (the exact place the bomb falls)

As you can see in the picture in the left, the monument looks really pretty huh?
But, it's actually where the bomb dropped.
The round thing in the middle, is actually the exact place the bomb dropped.
On the top of the round thingy, there's some "shapes" that if you see from the sky making a clockwise 8.15
2. Children's Peace Monument

Yup, this place is for children!
Remembering the tragedy of Sadako Sasaki (定子佐々木) a girl that survive the bombing without one scratch when she was 2 years old.
But, when she's 10 years old she got Leukemia from the bomb radiation.
She died when she was 11 years old when she was desperately making 1,000 paper cranes so she can survive.
Her friends searched donations from worldwide to make this monument!
Since then, people from worldwide starting to put lots of paper cranes there!
3. Hiroshima's Peace Arch Dome
The last but never the least, Hiroshima's Peace Arch Dome!
This monument is to remember the tragedy in 1945.
Some of the people bring flower cranes here!
That's all for now, keep in touch to my blog to see more posts about Hiroshima!

A-Bomb Poems

Dear poems' lover,
Here are some touching poems about Hiroshima you might like.
All of these poems are made from toddler under 5 years old!

1. An Atomic Bomb

When an atomic bomb falls
Day become night
And people become ghost

by : Hatsumi Sakamoto (3 years old back then)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2. My Daddy
Hiroshima, lively city
Daddy, died there
Daddy, gone, with the atomic cloud
Daddy, who died at the castle
Daddy, who I lost when I was little
Daddy, whose face I don't even know
Daddy, who I would love to see, even once in a dream
Daddy, I want to call him, and to hold him
If not for the, Daddy would have lived
He would have stayed in our home
And the bicycle my brother wants
He would have bought
by : Yoshiko Kakita (2 years old back then)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

3.(untitled)

My little sister Yoshiko
In bed with bad burns
Asked for tomato.
While Mummy was out
Buying out
Yoshiko died.

"With nothing but potatoes*,
We killed you,
Didn't we." Mummy said and cried.
I cried, too.
Everyone cried.

*potatoes mean sweet potato
by : Tomoko Sato (5 years old back then)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
4. My Younger Brother
Trapped among collapsed wooden boards,
My younger brother was groaning,
Then he begged for water, saying, "Water please! Water!"
I said, "I don't want to go into our broken-down house".
He became silent and.. past away.
If only I had gotten water for him!
These great poems are made by the testimonies who was under 5 years old back then. It was hard for them, losing their family.
A-bomb Testimony
Dear interested people,
This testimony is based in a real true story directly from the victim.
Please enjoy!
Taeko Miyoshi (9 years old back then)
At August 6 I was at home when a flash of light, like a lightning streaked over my head. Then everything went pitch black.
When it grew lighter again, I've found my mother, my grandmother, and I were lying in the rubble of our house.
Glass fragments was peppered on my body. My blood was spurting from the wounds. When my mother spoke, something dark red and looks like fish eggs dangled out. It was actually her internal organ. But, I just stared at her throat in silence.
My mother found some clothes and ripped it into pieces. She tried to stop my bleeding, by binding the clothes pieces to my wounds. She was desperate to stop my bleeding, although it's hard for her to breath. Her hand was wet and shiny with blood.
Then we heard voices, "Hurry! Get out! Fire is approaching!". A man picked me up and I screamed, "Mommy!". The man carried me over the rubble to a streetcar. My mother and grandmother stayed there, and they gradually dropped out of sight. I recall, my mother waving to me weakly with her red hand. It was the last time I ever saw her.
Along the streetcar tracks, victims of the bombing-their skin burned and dangling in strips., their body was covered by blood-staggered barefoot down the road. They were strangely silent.
I spent the night on the riverbank watching the sky burned red. All around me was junior high school's students, that looks like a burnt black doll.
"Mother!" "Water, please!" "I'm so hot!". Their voice gradually grew fainter and finally they died. It's odd but I don't feel lonely nor scared. We were all simply a human-shaped spirit with no emotion at all. In fact, it wasn't until three days later that I felt pain from my wounds. At the relief station, they removed the bloody cloth and I screamed 'till I lost consciousness.
When I finally came to, the war was over. But, that's when my suffering really began. My body was littered with tiny pieces of glass and maggots crawled in my wounds. Every night I replayed in my mind, over and over, the last image of my mom waving to me. As I looked up at the beautiful stars, I would think of her and quietly cry.
I actually didn't want to remember about the bombing, but children need to know the terrible cruelty of war. And so, with hopes and peace, I began to share my experience
Some Explain for Hiroshima's Disaster
At 8:15 a.m. August 6,1945, the first atomic bomb was used to attack Hiroshima, Japan by the U.S.
The bomb exploded 600 meters above the center of Hiroshima. In a blink the single explosion killed 40% of the Hiroshima's population.
People in 3 kilometers radius was badly burn. Their skin was peeled, lots of cut glass stuck on their skins. Bleeding from head to toe crying for water "Water! Water please" 「水!水おください!]. Calling their parents, complaining to people about their injures, "Mother, it hurts.. it hurts.." 「岡ちゃん!いたいよ。。いたいよ。。」. I was thinking, "Why? Why there supposed to be war?".
Innocent people died, crying quietly doesn't have any tears left. They vomit blood, their internal organ. It's worse enough!
Things are just getting worse, a rain.. A rain falls from the black sky of Hiroshima. It was a black rain, causes by the nuclear radiation. People that got so desperate for water drank the black rain, doesn't know and doesn't care about the effect. In their mind their just thinking water, family, LIFE.. If they just don't drank the black rain, they would have more chances to live! They're walking like zombies with their hands in front of them, maybe because of pain.
It was only 1 bomb! It can destroyed thousand of innocent souls!
They called the bomb A-Bomb
Go Green is IMPORTANT!!!
Let's go green! If you still doesn't know what will go green effect to our future, you're really need to read this!
GLOBAL WARMING
As you know global warming is happening right now. Global warming came from our self, that's why we're the one who must responsible for all of these.
Global Warming exist largely because of the pollution, and more more tree getting cut off which make the Carbon dioxide can't change to Oxygen
Global warming makes the earth became hotter and hotter. And because of that, the seasons are a little bit shifted and the ices in the both Poles is now melting a LOT!!
THE EFFECT OF GLOBAL WARMING TO THE HABITATS
Global warming doesn't only effect to us but also to the habitats!
Most of the habitats that got effected by global warming is Polar bear and followed by the penguin!
Why? Because they live in North Pole, and they're nature is with ice.. ALL of the ice in North Pole.
And that make me sad, because now global warming effected they're home by melting all of the ices in North and South Pole.
Can you imagine that your lovely house is disappear? You'll be really sad right? And that's how they feel now.
If this keep on going until future, they'll maybe extinct. So we don't have anymore bears in the North Pole nor the South.
Even thought I'm also a little bit sad imagining Santa lives in North Pole with all of the melting ices.
NUCLEAR EFFECTS
What is nuclear? Nuclear is an energy to make electricity, actually nuclear is good because they provide bigger electricity and save more money.
But, there's 2 main bad things about nuclear.
First, is that nuclear is really dangerous if its explode!
Do you ever heard of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (Japan)?
America has bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki with an atomic nuclear bomb.
And it was really big in a shape of a mushroom, and making everyone injured. Even the one who is 70 km away.
Secondly, the nuclear power plant bring a lot of carbon dioxide
As you can see from the picture, the nuclear power plant brings a lot of carbon dioxide.
Like for example the Fukushima (福島) nuclear power plant is leaking, but the government said that is THAT not dangerous.
That can make the earth hotter, and the pollution also make us sick.
So please wish me luck being here at Tokyo!
LET'S BE GREEN!
Reuse, Reduce, Recycle!
Because now your an expert about global warming, let's make CHANGES!!!
You must heard of this a lot of times! Lots of people doing this because this is the most common support for the earth to stay green. Read this post to know what all of that mean :)
❀ Reuse
Reuse means that you use something again for a several times rather than just trow it away. Something common to reuse is a plastic bag. If you get a plastic bag by buying something at the store, you can use that plastic bag for the garbage. Or bring it when you're buying something at the store, so you won't get another plastic bag. Plastic bag its hard to unravel, it may take 10 years to unravel!
❀ Reduce
Reduce means you make a smaller or less amount of something, but in this topic reduce mean make a smaller or less amount in plastic and other things that's hard to unravel. By reusing item that's mean you already help reducing plastic, like use the plastic bag again and again. That's make the plastic bag reduce!
Recycle
Recycle means waste or something that we don't use anymore we turn it into a usable material. Recycle is the most famous support to make the earth stay green. For example, you have this empty plastic bottle from your groceries rather than putting it in the garbage you should actually recycle it! Recycle it by washing it first so it's become clean, and then you could paint it white so you could paint it in another color. Decorate it! And put some stickers (if you want). Now, it's officially your new recycled stationary holder! That's the example for recycling.
It's YOUR turn to make the earth more green! These are not the only thing you can do to support the earth becoming green. So think green and be creative!
Me in Malaysia! (ENGLISH ONLY)
Sorry, to make you all wait for my new post, and also because it's english only. Okay just go to the point ;)
When I'm going to Indonesia we have a transit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I think the transit time its between 1 and a half day (give or take). Anyway when we arrived in Malaysia it's about daytime around 10.00 am. We arrived at the hotel and put our belongings there, change our clothes, then we go to travel Kuala Lumpur. In there, I want to go to the Twin Tower. But, when we're there it's written, "Sorry, the ticket has sold out!". You've gotta' be kidding me, so we just planned to go there tomorrow morning and go to the top of the Twin Tower before our departure. So, because of that we decided to go to the Twin Tower Mall. I buy cute clothes in there!!
We go to the PetroScience (It's a science museum by Petronas). It was the coolest and only Science Museum that I know. There is lots to do in there you will never be bored. To travel all places inside it takes you about 4 hours (but we get out earlier because my mom said that her foots is killing her). In there you can try simulation, experiment, and even a test!! You can visit a lot of places! One of them that I come to it's a Dinosaur place, and you know it was kind of surprising and weird when we enter the place. BOOM. There was a really huge but FAKE T-Rex. And to make it even more weirder the T-Rex wasn't growling it was SINGING!! Just imagine the weirdness, I actually want to put the video here but now Google change the settings D: !!!!
After all of that weirdness we bought a yellow and cute suitcase (I just luv it!), then we quickly rushing to StarBucks to rest and have some snack. I love StarBucks they make the yummiest Caramel Latte!! AFTER THAT WE WENT HOME TO THE HOTEL When we got home to the the hotel, we was sooo.......... BORED. And to make it worse there is no internet and the TV is in Malay!! My mom decided to try to watch the news in Malay, while I'm searching for some activities. Then I take a shower and after that I make some silly video (I just realize how I love Photo Booth!!). After that I fell asleep.
Yay!! Tomorrow is the day I will finally go to the top of the Twin Tower. I'm rushing to go from that hotel to the TwinTower. I'm praying that the Twin Tower is open and not sold out yet... Yahoo!! It's open and we queue, I still jumping over my excitement. Finally for about 45 minutes we're actually standing for our tickets. My mom asked the time, and the ticket seller answer was ripping off my cakes and ale!! The time for us to go up is at about 12.00 am, and we must already arrived at the airport at 11.00 (note:It's 9 o'clock now). After that that rip off for us to wait in line for 45 MINUTES we just walking trough the mall AGAIN and having lunch. 'Till now I still can feel the suffer. We arrived at the airport at time, which for some reason make me more happy. So, I arrived in Indonesia with still sunshine shining trough!! THE END
Our Adventure in Takao-san (ENGLISH ONLY)
Takao-san means Takao mountain. We were hiking there.
It's a lot of fun and adventure. If you go to Japan I suggest you must go there before leaving Japan.
Let's begin the story....
When we were hiking, we felt really tired (we're not even hiking 1 km yet =o=" )
So we found this street vendor not really fabulous, but delicious place to eat fresh fish! Yum
This is the fish that we will eat
They put the aquarium so we know that fish is fresh! LOL!!
This is before the poor fish is grilled
This is when the fish is grilled
I just couldn't see the fish when a living poor fish will be grilled
Aaahhhh! Such a horror for them (the fishes)!!!
I'm sorry I ate you because you are too delicious! LOL!!
If you want to see the fish closer,
I will zoom it!
Do you see it?
"Ehhmmmm, mom.... are you sure it is okay to eat this poor fish?"
Well, i know it's NOT dangerous, but still we ate a poor Little fish
Okay, let's stop talking about this fishy thingy!
Then.....
We were continuing our hiking
Now, we must ride a cable car!
This is the entrance,
But sorry i didn't take a single picture inside the cable car
I took this picture after we're done riding the cable car
Isn't it beautiful?
Looking below the Takao-san
Me and Tiyi touched the lucky octopus!
After that, we put a coin beside the octopus :D
Then we continue our hiking
When we were hiking we look at the monk cemetery
Bbrrr, kind of creepy don't you think?
A shrine that we saw when we were hiking
Cool eh?
Pray? The names of a monk who died?
Well, I don't know
For this one please figure out yourself!
Aaaahh, a monster!!!
Wait, it's only a statue!
Am I a drama queen or what?!
Me and Tiyi inside the temple
We washed our hand with the holly water
The temple in Takao -san
But, I can't go inside
So I don't have the picture inside okay?
Me and Tiyi were posing on the stairs at the temple entrance
Cool right? LOL
We're now living Takao-san
Bye bye Takao-san!
See you again! It's been a wonderful hiking experience
I agree that Takao-san bring lots of memory to people that come there!
